Faithful Hospital Replica For Emergency Preparedness Training

The Play2Train Open Content Alliance (POCA) represents collaborative efforts to build a permanent self-sustaining archive of open source virtual worlds, including their content and applications, to support public domain emergency preparedness training and exercises.

The construction of the virtual Idaho Elk's Rehabilitation Hospital aims at supporting the planning of full scale exercises that will take place in May/June next year.

They will also run exercises in the virtual environment and compare it with full scale exercises in the real world. This effort differs from previous ones in that, this time, they have actually replicated a virtual version of a real hospital.
