"Oh," the little girl said with a note of dismay, "Only first bear is free but I paid 4000 for mine."
She continued, "Ok i was at other dog park [and] paid 4000, then saw in chat [about the free polar bear]."
This particular youngster is a member of the
Virtual Kennel Club, entitled — as all members were — to a free polar bear during the giveaway. The fellow who sold her the bear knew this; he had already picked up his free bear from a legitimate
VKC Dog Park.
Did he sell his free bear? The fact is that the little girl, because she was in possession of a polar bear from this bloke, was not able to get the free one due her. You decide.
A message was sent to Enrico Genosse, the creator of the VKC Polar Bears and founder of the Virtual Kennel Club. Quite promptly he gave a free bear to the little girl. She was all smiles again.
How vexing it is when someone takes advantage of another. How pitiful it is to prey on child avatars. How dishonorable it is to do this in a "kid safe" zone. It is for sure that I won't be dropping donations into his tip jars.
When you want a VKC dog (or Polar Bear), be sure to go to a real
VKC Dog Park where you can count on courtesy and
honesty. ❧
