BTW - Channel 31, which is a community television station in Australia recently did an interview with me about an interactive installation we developed in collaboration with CMU at the National Rail Museum (Tea and Sugar Train exhibit). In discussion after the interview I spoke about some of our work together in virtual worlds and the interviewer was very excited. It turns our she is from California (she has the accent to prove it LOL) and said she is going home to California to visit in September. She wants to interview you, Jolie and Charles while she is over there and will interview me back here and also do some footage of us all ‘talking’ to each other with the guide dog in harness via SL.

I know of JAVA based open source application, which I think would have been worth looking at when we were developing our platform in wonderland but now Charles and I are favouring open sim and customizing the SL viewer instead not sure if it will still be suitable: http://cmusphinx.sourceforge.net/sphinx4/
