I pulled all my stuff off XStreet, 300+ items, and am putting them o n 4 other market places. I won't trust to one market at any one time. This follows on from Lindens willingness to bend over for corporations, while walking on those who make SL w...

SL Update

Now the land is back in my possession, I've almost completed developing it.

I've put up 2 galleries, one for my art, one for guest artists. The buildings are the earth mound type, I built them like this so I could use them as part of a BMX type Tiny bike obstacle course.
I've built part of it as a Tiny Jousting and practice area, the main joust run is 70m long by 30m wide and has grandstands etc.
I've added a Tiny jousting shop, where you can kit yourselves out for Tiny jousting - except for th… Continue

Abuse of VWs

I was annoyed yesterday, 14th July 2009, to find a friend of mine had been ripped off by bots in a land deal. L$44,000 was involved.

I know of bots having gone through XStreet marketplace in the past, and having caused trouble in SL. Yet Lindens don't ban them.

Has anyone else been a victim of financial crime in SL? how does it compare to being ripped off in other VWs?

It was a pleasure visiting your business location in SL. Thank you so much for your post. I believe the association has a legal group. Not to sure what they do but I plan to make some inquiries.

I will visit again soon

Hi Ken, did he reported the thing to LL? Usually they do care of it due to the fact that is going to be improved the security on land sales. It is due usually because the seller puts sale at 0L$ to "ANYONE" instead to sell it to a specific person. Land sales will change in the future but right now he can report an abuse and hope to receive assistance on the mistake. Land bots are going to be banned as per recent LL blog posts. Moreover is going to change the camp improved traffic and the bot massive use to raise traffic by landowners. We all hope to see up at the top of land ranks places that are architecturally, educative or community significant even if they will appear at the beginning someway empty.
Hope to see also a significant changing in considering SL a place where to easy earning money by new signups. That's what ruined SL image till now.
If you need my help, let me know

It certainly is, multi-tasking and fun at the same time. I can work, rest and play at the same time. Most people involved are friendly and think along similar lines, as an artist I enjoy meeting people but pushing the boundaries of technology at the same time.

I'm looking forward to the future if responsible, social minded people are working on it:-)
