Marc Scientist, Creative Director of SL HeartBeat Magazine, is putting together a team of talented photographers to shoot fashion, landscapes, night clubs, and people.
The position is very demanding so all applicants most be able to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and love photography.
And most important, all applicants most have a version of Adobe Photoshop, or Adobe Illustrator, or any graphic/photo editing program.
Contact Marc Scientist for application.

We have just launched the Republic of Titulia, an online politics and economy simulation that takes the form of a virtual nation. Presidential elections are underway.

We are creating a branded virtual world with a Latina theme and a green mission to 'Help Improve the Planet' - H I P:

We are looking for Flash virtual world developers to team up with us to take our prototype to the next level. This is an opportunity to be part of something that is poised for success. We have London Investment Bankers raising our first round. I am the founder and Chief funder for now. Look us up. We have a world class advisory board and are looking for our main gal/guy to lead the development.

This is not a me too site. We have a unique market focus that targets the fastest growing segment of the tween market. We have a multi-platform distribution strategy of which the virtual world is only one. Animation, music, toys and merchandising are a big part of our strategy and a big part of our differentiation.

We are working on a transmedia entertainment franchise. A "season" of animated shorts that are distributed via the internet based on an absurd spy genre comedy. Launching with the premiere of the shorts will be a virtual attraction that viewers will be directed to. The Clambake world will have locations from the shorts that users can interact with and explore. One of the goals we have is to bring newbies into a virtual world experience by making entry simple and providing them with something fun to engage in the moment they enter. This world will focus more on structured entertainment than the ability to create user generated content (although those features will be included.) We want to bring in people to experience and engage with content that is driven by the shorts. We have tons of ideas for games and activities that users can experience with each other or on their own.
Another primary goal is to engage in cross platform storytelling. Using all platforms accessible through the world we can have the underlying “mystery” story line increase in intensity and possibly be influenced by world users. Popular avatars in the world can make cameos or even be featured in episodes. The content will cross pollinate, new stories, new characters and situations will be created in the world

We at the State of Missouri are using Second Life to recruit IT professionals. We are open to ideas of how to improve our site or other objects that we can place there that would help bring potential hires to the area.
