We are delighted to present the new-look summer edition of the Modavia Fashion Directory. To celebrate the transformation we've invited none other than the illustrious Minnu Palen to grace our cover. Thanks to Minnu for a stunning image and to Graphic Dix for the truly gorgeous new layout. Inside this 20th edition of the Directory you'll find news and reviews including the confirmed line-up for Modavia Fashion Week (September 8-15), the work of several new stylists and photographers, exquisite artwork from Radio Signals and 200 pages of the best couture in Second Life.

Modavia Fashion Week (September 8-15, 2011) is the iconic fashion event of the year featuring the best of the Autumn collections from 50 of Second Life's leading couture designers. With sets created by Maddox Dupont and over 600 never before seen outfits styled by Modavia's elite models, you won't want to miss it. As in previous years Modavia Productions will sponsor an Emerging Designers Showcase and exclusive on-site boutique.

We are proud to present the special Modavia Fashion Week 2011 edition of the Directory. We have more than 400 pages packed with the best of the new season looks from the leading designers, photographers and models in Second Life. There is also fabulous artwork from Del May and Tamzin Xigalia and news about upcoming contests and events, including our November Supermodels casting.  You can find the online version on the Modavia Fashion Directory Issuu but do also keep a look out for our in-world magazine which is wrapped up this month with a unique skin gift from Glam Affair specially created for our readers.

Happy New Year and welcome to the first edition of the Directory for 2012. Our cover model for this edition is Mavi Beck, dressed and photographed by Joy Laperriere. Also featured on the cover is the very first outfit from the soon to be released new .Shi male collection.
Pride of place in this edition goes to the new mesh collection from Maitreya. It has all the awesome detailing and classy styling that we have come to expect from Onyx. Quality work. Take a look at our editorial for a first glimpse of the new Devi bootsfrom this collection.

 

Also rocking this edition with as-yet-unreleased designs is Amutey DeCuir. Check out the COLLECTIONS section for her Chinese New Year inspired designs shot by Petra Messioptra.
